So it’s old news about the controverscy with this year’s Oscar nominations, like the lack of minority nominations. But amongst the outcry, the fact that THE LEGO MOVIE was not nominated for Best Animated Movie. But one of the film’s directors, Phil Lord, took it in stride and posted a perfect response on his Twitter feed.

I have to say, personally, I have to agree with everyone else, in that THE LEGO MOVIE deserved a nomination. I mean, two of the movies had such a limited release, I’m sure no one has heard of them. And the rest? This movie was just as story driven, and probably more innovative than the rest.
But that’s just me. 🙂
